I began cautious to ask him if it’s safe to take Mercan restaurant car
for sight-seeing. He reassured me no problem. I was happy to thank him
for the reassurance. He told me his name was ‘Gentleman’.
SUNSET POINT
After we came back from the sight-seeing, Ernie wanted to visit the best
sunset point in Cappadocia. We followed the suggestion of the locals to
the hill opposite Mercan restaurant.
The sunset point provides a full view of Goreme. Same as the Uchisar
castle we visited in the afternoon gave us a chance to overlook Uchisar.
We met a French guy named Thierry here. He volunteered to be our guide
the next day on our way down to the ground. After some chatting & sensed
he’s a nice person, we agreed to meet him at 10am at the bus stop
tomorrow. |
